Coach Storey is a 1997 Graduate of Greely High School. Picking up the game of lacrosse in 1996, Coach played on the state championship team of 1996. In 1997 he was named team captain and all conference at Greely. Coach Storey then played college lacrosse at New England College in Henniker New Hampshire, playing on the winning teams of the commonwealth Coast Conference Championship in 98’, 99’ and 00’. During his time in Henniker he had the honor of being team captain for the 00’ and 01’ seasons. In 00’ coach Storey’s team played in the national tournament and was named second team all-conference. Coach Storey wrapped up his playing career being named: first team all-conference, 2nd team all-New England, and participated in the East West and North-South National all star game. Coach Storey’s coaching started as an assistant coach at New England College in 2002. Moving Back to Maine, he Took time off to start build his business from 03’ to 06’ he then rejoined coaching at the Greely Junior High from 2007-2009. In 2012 coach Storey was named Head Varsity coach for Greely High School. Owning a business, having a home and family in Cumberland Coach Storey is committed building the Greely Boy’s lacrosse program for years to come. He hopes that the program’s success, and development of great student athletes will pay tribute to all the players and coaches that lead the way for Greely Lacrosse.
Coach Thompson is a 2008 graduate of Greely High School. Picking up lacrosse in 2007 Coach went on to become captain his senior year. Coach was named first team all-conference and All-State his senior year.
Coach Thompson went on to play lacrosse at Trine University for four years. At Trine coach was all-conference honorable mention for two years. Coach had the honor of being named captain for his Junior at senior years.
Graduating Trine University in 2012 Coach has returned to help coach at Greely. Along the way coach has helped at the varsity and youth levels as a volunteer coach as he could. Hoping to give back to his former program and gain coaching experience, coach looks forward to helping with the development of Greely Lacrosse.
Coach Bell is a 2000 Graduate of Mt. Blue H.S. where he picked up the game of Lacrosse in his senior year as a Defensemen. He played College Lacrosse as a Midfielder at University of Southern Maine where he never missed a start in four years and was a three-year Team Captain.
He began his coaching at Gorham H.S. as an Assistant in 2006-2007 and Head Coach 2008-2011. During his time in Gorham he was named Maine Assistant Coach of the year in 2007 and as Head Coach led the team to its highest regular season finish, first playoff appearance and first playoff victory.
Coach Bell started his college coaching career as the Defensive Coordinator at St. Josephs College in 2009 -2010. In what was only their third year competing in the NCAA in 2010 he helped them to their first 10-win season. During his time at SJC he coached two All-Conference players and one Rookie of the Year.
In 2012 he joined the coaching staff at Bates College where he coached through the 2016 season under Hall of Fame Head Coach, Peter Lasagna. Competing in the NESCAC, arguably the most competitive conference in College Lacrosse Bates saw great improvement from 2012-2014. In 2015 they had a breakout season with an upset victory over the #1 ranked defending National Champion followed by their first NCAA tournament bid and first NCAA tourney victory. Bates was nationally ranked throughout the 2016 campaign and again had an upset victory over the defending National Champion. During those 5 years at Bates he coached 5 All-Americans.
Coach Bell joined as an Assistant Coach at Greely H.S. in 2018. He lives in Cumberland with his wife Ronnie and son Theo.
